Okay lets get real. Who believes in marriage these days anyway? People do it for the practical reasons - having a family, silencing nagging relatives, having god approved sex, financial improvements, giving into societal pressures . . . For those who want to raise a family, marriage makes sense. Having two adults committed to having and raising children provides a stable environment for a child to grow. But, there's still divorce. Divorce tends to be done for emotional reasons but delayed for practical reasons like the children. Obviously, there's something wrong with marriages or what people believe marriages to be.
